When using a transmission or transfer case that has a Manual Cable Driven speed output and you are moving to an Electronic Speedometer you will need to use this pulse generator to get the speed signal to the PCM, ECM, or TCM.
The pulse output on this generator is different from the factory settings in your PCM, ECM, or TCM and requires programming to match.
