Order Processing
Orders are processed quickly here at BP Automotive. If you have questions or concerns please reach out BEFORE placing an order. It is very possible your order will be processed and shipped within minutes during business hours, resulting in the inability to make any adjustments to your order. DO NOT place an order if you are unsure! We are happy to answer your questions to avoid ordering incorrectly!
Orders ship complete. Keep in mind that the lead time may be longer than listed if you purchase multiple harnesses and if multiple harness types are ordered, you will need to go by the longest lead time.
Shipping
We require that the billing AND shipping addresses match on any first time orders. NO EXCEPTIONS! Dealers and repeat customers are not subject to this requirement. If you place an order with billing and shipping addresses not matching and are not approved to do so, the order will be cancelled and refunded less 3% processing fees.
Our preferred shipping method is UPS. We offer USPS as well but keep in mind that we have seen delays, missed scans/tracking not being updated, etc with USPS. We ship in stock orders received by 1 pm CST generally the same day, and orders usually arrive within 2-3 business days. BP Automotive has NO control over transit times. We do not hold orders! If you received an email with tracking, the order has shipped.
BP Automotive is NOT responsible for packages AFTER they leave our facility. If you live in an area with a high probability of theft, we suggest you REQUEST A SIGNATURE for your package during checkout.
International Orders/Shipping
We DO ship to Canada directy; however, you must email us (info@bp-automotive.com) a list of items you are purchasing along with your billing and shipping addresses so that we can get you a shipping quote as you will not be able to checkout via the website. You can also use a freight forwarder within the USA to ship without emailing (we do allow separate billing and shipping when a freight forwarder is used!!). All other countries must use a freight forwarder!
CANADIAN CUSTOMERS: IF YOU WISH TO USE A PARCEL PICKUP LOCATION WITHIN THE USA, PLEASE EMAIL OVER BOTH ADDRESSES FOR APPROVAL!!
Local Pick Up
You can pick up an order in person if you want! However, this is done only by appointment. When placing your order online, be sure to select Local Pickup as your shipping method. You will be contacted via EMAIL with appointment dates/times available.
Returns
BP Automotive will accept returns for UNINSTALLED items only. No exceptions. Any item that has been installed may be exchanged for the same item only if the item is defective. BP Automotive reserves the right to inspect all items before a replacement is sent back out. It is the customer’s responsibility to send the item back to BP Automotive, and if the item is truly defective BP Automotive will reimburse the amount of shipping to send the item back to BP Automotive and send a replacement item back.
In the event that you are wanting to return an uninstalled item BP Automotive will accept your return under the following circumstances-
1. Item or items are uninstalled.
2. The item is in new condition.
3. The item being returned has been purchased in the past 30 days.
If the original packaging is damaged the return will be subject to a restocking fee no matter the time-frame of your return. Minimum of 10%.
Restocking fees are calculated by the date the order was placed and the date the return is received. The restocking fees are as follows-
0-10 days 10%
11-20 days 15%
21-30 days 20%
All return shipping fees are to be paid by the customer. All returns must be preapproved by BP Automotive and the RMA number must be clearly visible on the outside of the box. The original invoice and RMA number must also be provided inside the box. This must be done to ensure that your return is approved and that there are not any delays in processing your return.
Please be advised— we do not accept returns of any customized harnesses and/or special orders!! This includes direct fit harnesses, harnesses with add ins (flex fuel, speed density (maf removed), cruise control, etc), custom routings, custom lengths etc. Reach out to us before purchase if needed!
Refunds/Cancellations
Any cancellation on orders PRIOR to shipping will result in a refund that is less 3% processing fees.
Cancellation of orders that we have processed and shipped are at a case by case basis. If the order is able to be stopped before it has left, it will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Any refund on a returned item may take 7-10 business days to be reflected on your form of payment.
Dakota Digital products are not approved for any returns or refunds. You cannot cancel a pending Dakota Digital order and receive a refund. If you are concerned with lead times for gauge sets, please email us before ordering as these are ordered on your behalf and drop shipped to you. We do not stock their gauges here!
ANYTHING warrantied by BP Automotive will be done so as an EXCHANGE, NOT a REFUND!!!
