🚚 Order Processing

We process orders quickly to get your parts out the door as fast as possible.

  • Have questions before ordering? Please contact us first to ensure you select the correct product. Orders may be processed and shipped within minutes during business hours, leaving no time for adjustments or cancellations.

  • Orders ship complete. If you purchase multiple harnesses or mixed harness types, the lead time will default to the longest item in your order.

  • Do not order if you are unsure about your selection—we are happy to help you choose the right product before you purchase.


📦 Shipping Policy

  • Address Requirements: For first-time credit card orders, billing and shipping addresses must match. (No exceptions.) This does not apply to Affirm, PayPal, dealers, or repeat customers. Orders placed without matching addresses will be canceled and refunded minus a 3% processing fee.

  • Carriers: Our preferred carrier is UPS for reliability and accurate tracking. USPS is available but may experience delays, missed scans, or tracking issues.

  • Same-Day Shipping: In-stock orders received by 1 PM CST typically ship the same business day. Delivery is usually within 2–3 business days, but transit times are beyond our control.

  • Tracking: If you received a tracking email, your order has shipped.

  • Responsibility: BP Automotive is not responsible for packages after they leave our facility. If theft is a concern in your area, we recommend selecting the Signature Required option during checkout.


🔒 Shipping Insurance & Signature Options

At checkout, you can choose:

  • Shipping Insurance (ParcelGuard) – Covers loss, theft, or damage. View terms

  • Signature Required – Ensures the carrier obtains a signature on delivery.

If you purchased insurance and your package is lost, stolen, or damaged:

  1. Contact us at info@bp-automotive.com.

  2. A police report is required for stolen packages.

  3. Lost package claims can only begin 21 days after shipment (domestic).

  4. For damaged packages, please provide photos immediately.


🏢 Local Pickup

Available by appointment only. If you select local pickup at checkout, we’ll email you when your order is ready with available pickup times.


🌎 International Orders

  • We ship directly to Canada—email info@bp-automotive.com with:

    • A list of items you want to purchase  If the product has options, please send the options as well.

    • Your billing and shipping addresses.

    • We’ll provide a shipping quote and payment link for purchase.

  • Customers outside Canada must use a freight forwarder within the U.S. (Separate billing and shipping addresses are allowed for freight forwarders.)

  • Canadian customers: If you are using a U.S. parcel pickup location, please email both addresses for approval before placing your order.


↩️ Returns Policy

We only accept returns for uninstalled items under the following conditions:

  1. The item is uninstalled, unused, and in new condition.

  2. The return request is made within 30 days of purchase.

  3. Items are returned with original packaging intact. (Damaged packaging incurs a minimum 10% restocking fee.)

Restocking Fees:

  • 0–10 days: 10%

  • 11–20 days: 15%

  • 21–30 days: 20%

Return Procedure:

  • Contact BP Automotive for pre-approval and an RMA number.

  • Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box and include the original invoice inside.

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Customized or special-order harnesses (direct-fit, added wiring — cruise control, tow/haul, etc., speed density –removal of maf wiring, custom routing, custom lengths, etc.).

  • Dakota Digital products (non-cancellable and non-refundable).

Defective Items:

  • Must be returned for inspection.

  • If the item is confirmed defective, shipping costs will be reimbursed, and a replacement will be sent.


💳 Refunds & Cancellations

  • Orders canceled before shipping are refunded minus 3% processing fees.

  • Orders that have shipped cannot be canceled (see Returns above).

  • Refunds on approved returns may take 7–10 business days to appear on your payment method.

  • Packages returned by the carrier (incorrect address, failure to pick up, etc.) will be refunded minus shipping costs (this INCLUDES free shipping orders — refund will be less the cost BP Automotive paid for shipping).

  • Warranty replacements are exchanges only, not refunds.
